every set of extensions at ren is made from russian hair that natalia sources personally, from trusted agents in russia. slavic origin, single donor, cuticle fully intact.
cuticle-aligned hair takes colour and toner similarly to natural hair. it sits more naturally against your own hair, and resists fraying or matting with the right care.
we offer two ranges. standard-grade russian hair, which undergoes minimal processing, and virgin russian hair, which isn't processed at all.
with regular maintenance, standard shades commonly hold for around eighteen to twenty-four months. blondes wear faster — typically eight to twelve months — because lightened hair breaks down sooner.
virgin russian hair tends to outlast standard grade, often holding well for two to three years with regular care. dark and medium browns are usually virgin; lighter shades are available on request.
russian hair is denser than most. that's one of the reasons clients say their extensions feel weighted, not stacked. the other is how they're fitted — by hand, one application at a time, by natalia herself.

natalia fits three methods at ren — nanobead extensions, mini bond extensions, and micro bond extensions. the method that suits you is chosen during your consultation, based on your hair type, density, lifestyle, and the result you're after.
the nanobeads — small silicone-lined rings, smaller than traditional micro beads. no heat. no glue. discreet at the root. reusable across maintenance cycles. suited to most fine to medium hair types. the lightest entry point for clients new to extensions. maintenance every six to eight weeks.
the mini bonds — small keratin bonds, half the size of the industry standard. heat-fused at the root, almost invisible at the hairline, longer-wearing. suited to clients who want the longest stretch between maintenance, and the most natural blend at the root. maintenance every two and a half to three months.
the micro bonds — our smallest keratin bonds. half the size again of our mini bonds. made for clients with the most delicate natural hair — including women who've been told extensions weren't possible. by consultation only. one of very few studios in sydney offering this level of fine-hair bonding work.
fittings run between two and seven hours, depending on density and method. removal is professional, careful, and quoted separately — it's not included in the fitting, but we don't lock you in either. you can leave at any stage.

russian hair at ren is fitted in three textures — straight, wavy, and curly — so your extensions match what your own hair already does. during your consultation, we'll assess your natural fall and density, then match the texture and colour that blend in seamlessly. extensions should sit with your hair, not against it.
treatments + extensions.
some hair benefits from a treatment before extensions go in. ren offers nanoplasty and smoothing treatments that soften texture and reduce frizz, creating a smoother foundation for extensions to sit against. treatments and fittings can be done in the same appointment, so the result lands together.

very likely yes. we built our micro bond service around exactly this question. most extension salons can't bond at a small enough scale for fine hair without causing traction or slippage. we can.
natalia has spent years developing keratin bond work at half — and now half again — the industry standard size. if you've been turned away from extensions before, the consultation is the right starting point. if your hair specifically isn't suited, we'll tell you. but the vast majority of women who've been turned away elsewhere are excellent candidates for our work.
